The construction, sale, and use of fireworks, firecrackers, and similar products are regulated by Greek and European legislation to protect human health, animals, and the environment.

Most fireworks and firecracker products require a special, professional license, such as the one held by our company, Nanos Fireworks.

Whether fireworks are permitted in a specific area depends on various factors, including the exact location of the fireworks display, the distance from forests, residential areas, or protected sites, the presence of power lines, weather conditions, and more.

At Nanos Fireworks, our experienced team members are available to advise you on the suitability of setting off fireworks at your chosen event venue.

Based on the venue's requirements and safety distances, we will send you specific proposals to choose what you like.

Attention: Some reception halls do not allow fireworks on their premises. You should speak with the venue managers to ensure that they permit the use of fireworks and that all safety protocols are followed.

According to the legislation in our country, aerial fireworks must strictly adhere to quiet hours, as defined by Police Regulation 3 of 1996.

During the summer period (April 1st - September 30th) from 23:00 to 07:00. During the winter period (October 1st - March 31st) from 22:00 to 07:30.

Due to the temperate climate in our country, bad weather during the summer months is considered quite rare, though not impossible.

Another very important factor that can change our plans is the occurrence of strong winds, which make it impossible to launch fireworks.

At Nanos Fireworks, we do the impossible to ensure the best result for the most beautiful day of your life. Therefore, we always recommend creating alternative plans with special shows and effects, such as indoor fireworks, in case of bad weather.

At Nanos Fireworks, we use fireworks and pyrotechnics that are 100% environmentally friendly and approved by the European Union.

The new technology based on nitrocellulose replaces traditional fireworks by removing black powder and charcoal, and replacing them with nitrocellulose. This results in lower levels of smoke in the atmosphere and a lower percentage of carbon dioxide emissions, making these alternative products less harmful to the environment.

Additionally, noise levels are reduced according to European guidelines, which set the maximum noise level at 120dB, equivalent to the noise produced by natural phenomena such as thunder.
